“Wow!” This was our first trip to PVR and I think we were spoiled a little our first time. Our friend was turning 40 and he wanted us all to go down to PVR for his birthday. He found Villa Celeste online and booked it. I was pretty impressed with the pictures online, but I have to say nothing prepared me for the actual beauty and impressiveness of this place. The views are amazing, the location is great (you are close enough to the beach that you could have a conversation with someone on the beach while you are standing on the front deck! Each room had it’s own charm and bathroom. Air conditioners in each room was very nice! This is true tropical luxury on the beach. The house easily accomodated the 9 of us. The morning sunrise coming over the mountain and illuminating the water, the sunsets at night were amazing as there is no obstructions between you and the ocean. You can see almost the entire bay from anywhere on the property. Keep an eye out for the iguanas basking on the roof tops. The staff: Franciso, Javier, and Francis took very good care of us the entire time. Francisco is a true gentleman and exellent employee. He ordered a birthday cake and had it delivered and took care of the bill for us to pay him later. The night of our friends birthday he and Javier brought the cake out singing with giant somberos on their heads! Javier is an excellent cook! Definitely try his carne asada and the Cream de Pobalo soup! We are already talking about going back each year and trying to get back to Villa Celeste each time.
